Plant Accountant

with Cost Accounting Experience

A "Best in Quality" Manufacturing Facility is looking for a new Plant Accountant for its Mobile Facility. 

Position Description:

• This is a first shift accounting position. 
• The Plant Accountant will assist the Accounting Manager with cost control, financial controls, and general accounting reporting. 

Skills and Experience Required:

• Prior experience with month end close, reconciliations and general ledger duties, will be required. 
• An accountant who has floor experience with inventory and audit will be preferred.
• A bachelors degree in accounting required. 
• At least 2 years of plant accounting experience is required. 
• A strong cost accounting background is essential. 
• CPA is preferred, but not required.
